Once again, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Canada has done a spectacular job organizing its annual conference. The 24^th STEP Canada National Conference was delivered in a virtual format from June 14^th – 16^th, 2022. The STEP Canada / Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Roundtable is always a highlight of the conference, and this year was no exception. During the Roundtable, the CRA provided detailed answers to 17 pre-selected questions posed by trust and estate practitioners across Canada on a variety of topics.

In advance of the release of the CRA’s official written answers to the 2022 Roundtable questions later this summer, Katherine L. Ratcliffe and Linmac are pleased to provide a summary of the verbal answers given.
